Gear up for Bike to Work Day, Colorado!
State employees: It’s time to get moving and join the Colorado Office of Sustainability’s Bike to Work Day Challenge on Wednesday, June 25th!
Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or haven’t ridden a bike since you were a kid, this is the perfect opportunity to break from routine and pedal your way to a healthier commute, cleaner air, and serious bragging rights!
Hop on your bike, feel the breeze, and be part of the Bike to Work day challenge!
To participate
- Make sure your agency is signed up on the Denver Regional Council of Government's website
- Click the “Join the Business Challenge” under Pledge to Ride to select your organization
- If your agency is not listed, register them on the website under “sign up for the business challenge”
- Click the “Join the Business Challenge” under Pledge to Ride to select your organization
- Pledge to ride under your agency’s name
- Share with your fellow employees
- Get pedaling on Wednesday, June 25th
- You don’t have to bike to work for this to count! You can bike to the grocery store or similar errand you might do on June 25th
Bike to our State Capitol Station
On Bike to Work Day, the Office of Sustainability will host a station at the State Capitol West Steps from 7am-2pm with the Colorado Energy Office and the nonprofit Bikes Together. We will have ebikes you can test and quick repairs and safety checks.
